I really don't get why everyone is so awful when bashing other people's thoughts and shipping.
Sure, I hate some pairings but I don't bash about them to people who I know like them or ship them.
My thoughts are my thoughts and yours are yours.
How hard is it to actually follow that?
What I also don't understand is how people can create groups and communities just to gather people who share the same hate for the persons.
We don't even know them! Just as much as I would say I love Chinen Yuri for being Chinen Yuri - I can't. I just can't - because I don't know him. As long as I don't talk to him in person or meet him in person, I can't base my love on that fact.
BUT what I can say is that I love Chinen Yuri for the one he appear to be, who he shows himself for us.
Attention whore or not. Line hogger or not. Rude or not. Chinen Yuri is still Chinen Yuri who he wants US to see him as.
To judge someone and claim to hate him by the attention is wrong. THEY can't help that people love them, that they see the wonderful sides of them, just in the same way YOU can't help to despise them for what they do to make you hate them.
Is it just the attention? Or is it just because others talk about them, overflow the net with them?
Life is not fair all the times, sometimes it's just to accept the fact that the world is not yours and your opinion is not the only one that matters.
Shippers should also think of respecting people that don't like the pairing/shipping/person.
Don't hang up on the facts.
If they encounter you, just tell them to mind their own business. What YOU do is none of their business. If you like something, you shall not back down on that. Stand up and be steady!
If you back down and feel bad for something a stranger says, you can as well stop.
Boost your confidence by hanging around with people you KNOW like or respect your opinions.
If the ones who bash your interest are your friends - they're not worth being your friends. They're merely somebody you happen to know the name of.
Everything about this hate and love for shipping and what pairing is the best and which is the worst BUGS ME.
I've been through this too many times now and been betrayed over and over. People has stopped respecting me and look down on my fandoms and my interest. I've stopped considering them as my friends.
Those who are my friends outside the fandom are those who can respect me for who I am and not for who I am because of my interest.
I always respect people's interest - I just happen to joke around too much sometimes that people think I'm bitchy.
My online-wifeyy happens to love TakaYama (Takaki Yuya x Yamada Ryosuke), but is a former/still a YamaChii shipper.
I respect her love for TakaYama - because that was not what brought us together, neither was it YamaChii.
I knew her before I started talking with her from some of her fics and also that one of her fics got plagiarized and I helped her out some there, but other than that, I just love her for who she is.
I claim to be a YamaChii lover/shipper or whatever you want to call it. I don't love them for being all cutesy and lovely together on pictures, no no no, that's just a +.
What I love about YamaChii is that they don't seem to have to act together. Everything just flows freely.
The said facts that Chinen loves Yamada is also a +, but still... in my mind I know they're not gay. I know they might just happen to be that close.
I also know that in Japan, boys tend to be closer to girls than they are with girls because of all laws and regulations and such.
I love their love for friendship not LOVE. LOVE for FRIENDSHIP.
That's why I've almost stopped reading YamaChii fanfictions, just because they seem to unreal to me. Not that I hate that, but my imagination doesn't run wild as it did before.
That is because I know YamaChii is canon- both parties has confessed their mutual feelings for each other.
Anyone is totally free to say I'm wrong or that I'm right - but remember this, when you decided to read this, willing or unwilling, you've signed on the contract to respect my opinions since this is from MY point of view.
Nothing I say can be used as a fact to state that something is true or false.
These are my opinions based on interviews, TV-shows, making of's and radio shows.
Of course, my opinions on fans and such are based on personal experience.
It is too late to stop this endless war of hating each other because we just can't respect each other's likes and dislikes.
But it's not too late to make a change.
You can not consider yourself as a fan of Hey! Say! JUMP if:
- You bash other's likes
- You can't accept that reality is not your imagination
- You can't accept every member in the group
- You say you hate one member because he gets 'everything'
- You totally favorite one member and don't care about the others
- You claim to be a fan when all you do is to 'fangirl'
and much more.
Fangirling/fanboying is so much more than enjoying the shows and watching their pretty faces. It's more than just buying their things and supporting them.
It's not only 'knowing' them outside and within, it's not only to 'get to know' them more.
What we do, is more or less called stalking. Sure, they have this as their job and are supposed to deliver EVERYTHING we want, or they disappoint us.
SO WHAT?
What if they happen to disappoint us? Does that make them less interesting? Does that make them less cool?
Does that make your hopes go down?
I admit that the making of Hitomi no Screen was lame - but considering all the effort they put in the video, it's totally fine. Also, considering all effort Yamada put up with the drama.
We all hope they deliver what we want, they all hope that what they do will please us.
What are we? Slave drivers?
We go around and think and voice that JE is so strict with their privacy and how they make them work so hard.
THAT'S JUST BECAUSE OF US.
It's not the agency forcing them to work hard. It's us. WE ARE the reason why they have to work hard.
If not for us, they would not have to work that hard but also, they would also not have had anything to aim for.
We are what's driving them to work - we are what's inspiring them.
Our smiles and our hopes are what they hope for see and hear. What we hope for is their smiles and their hopes.
We are all the same.
They could have had 'normal lives' just like us (knowing Chinen, he would still have loved Arashi and Ohno). They could have walked down the streets without worrying to be caught by the paparazzi. They could have been the ones to stand there beside the concert stage and looking up on their senpai's and enjoying.
Just remember that they're humans just like us.Before I end this, where I have probably forgot to say everything I wanted( so I'm reserved for any missing pieces of opinions and additional information that might come), I want to share my thoughts on the said Hey! Say! JUMP members.
As a group, which I don't really follow as much as I did before (because a certain group KAT-TUN haunts me), I still love them. I still love them even if I happen to not know the latest news - because no matter what happens to them - I will love them and respect their decisions and also their changes.
They're a group of 10 people, we don't really know if they are getting along or not, but from what they appear as, they do and they're like a family. They don't consider each others as people they work with just to get over it, they consider each other as people they want to work with to achieve the same goals. They surely have other friends they hang out with and such, but as we see them, they're as tight as they can be.
They were a bunch of hopeful talents and maybe not so talented talents that happened to be the group for Johnny to try out.
Taking the leaders for almost each popular junior group and merging them.
It's a fact that Yabu was popular, not only among the fans but within the agency too as well respected and talented, so it was no surprise he debuted (though, sad that Yayaya disbanded), and Hikaru too, maybe not the ideal face but talents to develop and also working well with Yabu.
Sure, Johnny tend to favorite some idols, we all know that - but he's a man known for money. He knows how to get money. And who are we to complain? We love the effort he put in.
Peace out. ♥
